MSA IR400 Point IR Gas Detector

MSA IR400 Point IR Gas Detector

SKU
IR4000

The IR400 Infrared (IR) Point Detector is a hydrocarbon gas detector that continuously monitors flammable gases and vapours within the lower explosive limit (LEL) and provides an alarm indication.

Details

The MSA IR400 Point IR Gas Detector has an industry-leading response time of & less than 3 seconds, even when a splash guard is installed. All the electronics are in an explosion-proof housing, so that the detector information from the IR400 can be processed locally. Configurations with analogue output, Modbus and HART are also available.

This product is available in several options and therefore the price is on request. For more information and pricing, please contact us at info@holugt-sauer.com

Features:

  • Industry-leading speed and response: T90 ≤ 3 seconds, even with splash protection installed
  • No routine calibration required, reducing maintenance costs
  • Industry standard 4-20 mA output provides remote alarm and fault indication
  • Multiple communication outputs provide full status and control capabilities in the control room
  • Heated optics eliminate condensation Dirty optical indication distinguishes between true error and cleaning requirements
  • Fast calibration times reduce the amount of cal gas needed, lowering maintenance time and costs
